The College of Horticulture and Forestry at Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University, established in 2016 in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, is dedicated to providing high-quality education and training in horticulture and forestry sciences. With ten well-equipped departments, the college offers undergraduate programs in B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture and B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry, recently increasing their student intake to 40 for the 2023-24 academic year. At the postgraduate level, it offers specialized M.Sc. programs in Horticulture and Forestry across multiple disciplines, alongside doctoral programs focusing on areas like Fruit Science and Silviculture.
The curriculum is enriched by experiential learning programs that foster skill development and entrepreneurship. The college has implemented RKVY projects to enhance infrastructure for research and education, including high-tech nurseries and protected cultivation facilities. With a fully air-conditioned academic building, smart classrooms, and well-equipped laboratories, the college is committed to delivering effective and innovative education.
